I have been privileged to be the Pastor of Blaenau Gwent
                          Baptist Church here in Abertillery since 1998, and I can  honestly say
                          it will be difficult to find a more caring and loving fellowship anywhere.
                          The statement that best reflects Blaenau Gwent Baptist Church is
                          Sharing the love of Jesus. This is something that we try to live by in
                          everything we do. Through God’s help and inspiration we are trying to
                          meet the needs of all age groups, from infants to old age pensioners.
                          As the Church fellowship grows we continue to expand our ministries.
                         
We are interested in each individual and their particular needs, the most important being their Spiritual need. Our primary purpose for existence is to help people come to know Jesus in
a personal way. We believe that, according to the Bible, our only hope for
eternity is by the grace of God, and through our faith in Jesus Christ.
